MidNorth Community Theater Night hits home

MidNorth Community Theater Night drew in some new faces, including one of MidNorth's founders, Marj Barry.  What an inspiration she and her team of neighborhood preservationists are for all of us!  We hope to collect her story and post it to this site in the near future. The Victory Gardens production of "Native Gardens" was right up our alley, with non-stop laughs that hit very close to our neighborhood organization!  It reminded us that "all politics is local"!! Thank you to Tamara Maple for planning and organizing the event, which included delicious catering from Smoque.  Thank you also to Victory Gardens for supplying the delicious cocktails!  We look forward to our next event.

St. Paul’s Proposed Signage

Our July 11 Meeting will take place at St. Paul's Untied Church of Christ, as Parker School is closed for the summer months.  It will include a discussion of the new signage being proposed at St. Paul's church. Please come to hear the presentation and provide your input into the design and zoning change required for its installation. The meeting will take place in the Parlor (enter on Fullerton)

Ward Miller of Preservation Chicago on Tuesday, April 18

Join us on April 18 at 6:30p.m. at Francis Parker School for a conversation with Ward Miller of Preservation Chicago to hear about Lincoln Park Landmarks, Past, Present and Future.  Ward will discuss local preservation procedures, successes, failures and what the future holds for preservation of Lincoln Park landmarks.
