Mid-North Association

Mid-North is hosting an open community meeting to give an update on the proposed Francis Parker expansion as well as to hear a community led proposal that is an alternative to Parker’s plans to demolish a significant courtyard building on West Belden Avenue. Since we last met, the Mid-North Association Board communicated in person to Alderman Knudsen on May 11, 2026, during a meeting at the Alderman’s office, that the MNA Board unanimously opposes Parker’s proposals.  A copy of the letter which put in writing what was communicated directly to the Alderman is posted on our website. The feedback that Mid-North has received and continues to receive has been overwhelming opposed to the destruction of a historic building and expansion onto Belden as well as to the stadium lights.
